GCE公司原本是制造电脑显示器的，看见很多原本和电玩无关的公司开始如潮水般的涌入电子游戏界，谁看了谁都眼红，毕竟这是大势所趋（电玩产业崩溃也是大势所趋2333）。于是为了掺一脚，也同时为了处理卖不掉的显示器，于是...
GCE的Vectrex诞生了！
信不信由你，这算是掌机！至少家用机的话需要你插电视，现在你连电视都省了2333
“这是个好创意！”很多公司也开始模仿类似技术，于是一些tabletop mini-arcade机诞生了，但是这类产品有个通病，也是GCE Vectrex没有的毛病——不能更换游戏，一个机器只对应一个游戏！这不仅仅是浪费材料，也是浪费玩家的金钱。但是，有这么一家公司的产品是和Vectrex的步伐一致的，那就是Entex的AdventureVision。
虽说点子是从人家那里得来的，但是Entex也有自己的特色——有了不同的颜色。GCE的Vectrex是黑色和蓝色的，而AdventureVision是黑色和红色。wait, black and red？这不是老任的黑历史之一——Virtual Boy么！You've got the point，这种“黑红技术”（容易瞎想的词2333）就是老任从这个名气不大的公司获得的想法，虽然想隐藏历史说是原创，但是史学家是放不过任何一个线索的。就好比一个流行歌手做了个抄袭n年前的地下歌手曲子riff的曲子最后又过了n年还是让发烧友发现了一样...
这不是Entex第一次进军掌机市场。1981年他们发行的Select-A-Game就有可更换rom卡带的功能，这个技术帮了他们很大忙，也是他们优越于那些作tabletop mini-arcade的公司的一点。这点就很致命了，因为涉及到很多和金钱相关的问题。
外盒上还特意标出“No TV Required！”这是个卖点，但不是最大的，因为同期的很多生产商的产品都有这个功能...他们应该写“With Changeable Cartridge”。虽然右面写了这是个table-top cartridge system，我还是觉得应该放在醒目的位置，毕竟看见这么一个东西谁都能想到这是不用连电视的，囧。
外盒后面有产品说明、用法和简介，你确定不用把这些写进用户手册？？？？？？相反的，如果你弄丢了盒子而不知如何操作，你就呵呵呵了。
来个插入卡带了的机器的特写~对，屏幕前方那个小黑块就是卡带。
这个平台都有神马游戏呢？额，一只手就能数过来的，一共就4个游戏...嫌少？怪我咯。
其中的三个卡带的特写。
Super Cobra，我觉得我快要瞎了，这么吊炸天的东西...虽然不是Virtual Boy的那种头晕目眩，更不是Tiger的R-Zone那种一击必杀直接刺穿钛合金狗眼的程度，玩个20分钟也足矣瞎一阵子了...你问我R-Zone是啥？嘛，反正肯定不是看过AVGN的人问的。
嗯，这就是R-Zone，同样是掌机，但是你握在手里的只有手柄...
回到正题，Super Cobra是Konami的同名街机游戏的移植，显然这个移植的水平不够好= =想玩个“正常”版本的话，建议你买Atari 2600的卡带...
Space Force，这是Asteroids的克隆版，没啥好说的，操作都一样，左右旋转，下键亚空间移动，开火键开火，躲避并射击陨石，射击飞碟，赚分，仅此而已。我还是喜欢PS2版的，那个才是狂拽酷炫。
Turtles，Pac-Man的变相克隆。没玩过Pac-Man的要么随意找个模拟器下rom撸一把，要不就去看《像素大战》吧。Pac-Man变成了乌龟，小鬼变成了臭虫...一点都不酷
最后，压轴的是Defender，同名的街机移植。也是我最喜欢的类型。

CPU：英特尔8048 733kHz
声卡：NS COP411L 52.6kHz
RAM：64 byte (内部8048) 1kb on PCB
ROM：1kb
配件：AC adapter，保修卡
总销量（小差值估算）：50757台
个人评分：
外观：9/10，拉风！
耐用度：5/10，相对来说不禁玩...
硬件：8/10，与同世代机器相比算是不错的，虽然没有Vectrex好。
画面：6/10，一般，但是优点是不是黑白的（这算是优点么？）
声音：5/10，用AVGN的James的话说，“这是屁声连奏”23333
稀有度：9/10，至少在eBay上七八年没见到了，只有在跳蚤市场或者二手电玩店才能偶尔碰到。如果你是个电器或者电玩收藏者，哪怕是有缺陷的机器你也应该毫不犹豫的掏钱，因为这东西现在基本上只能在电玩博物馆里才能看到了...但是，再怎么稀有也没有那些原型机稀有，所以扣1分。
总分：7/10

yeah, just like what I said, people often regard STG as SHMUP, but that's totally wrong. STG means "shooting game", but FPS and TPS, even flight simulation are "shooting game", that's frustrating. I have to say Japanese gamers can't define the genres correctly, even on music.
Solar Strike is the easiest SHMUP on Gameboy, I could beat it within two lives for sure. So keep it up!
Contra Force is my best fav of the Contra series, the second fav is Contra Rebirth on Wiiware. There're many tricks about Contra Force, I reavealed some since childhood. As for Contra III on SNES, I really don't like the overhead run 'n' gun part, cuz you can't walk properly, you have to use shoulder buttons to make a turn which is very difficult to aim at enemies. And in total, it's a hard game I have to say, I'm amazed about you too.
I recorded them by FLAPS, but it cost too much "life-meter" of your graphic card and internal memory of your computer, so I refuse to do so now.
mmm, I don't mind it, just do it, it's easier to read on mobile phones I think.

mmm，you are right，I confused the STG with the fps.
I enjoyed the second game very much when I was a litter boy.Though I couldn't beat it，I thought it is the easiest STG game.
When I saw that you could beat contra force within losing one single life，
I was amazed.Cuz about all versions Contra，only the ContraⅢ，which I can manage beating.
About the two turbopads，I just want to say you can swap it for a wedding ring if you want to.2333
Oh by the way，how did you record this video.

btw, among these four titles, the hardest one is the third one Nemesis on GBC actually. and the first one Aleste GG on Game Gear is one of my favorite games of all time and all consoles!

thx, though I have one famiclone, I don't like it cuz it's an unofficial pirate version, what I want is a real famicom. but, since I don't like Nintendo either, what I want is to find back my Mega Drive and 32X in fact...
believe it or not, these two turbopads had been fixed twice at least, and they still work! (checking by using a micro voltage checker)
mmm, well, it's not FPS, it's SHMUP. (or STG whatever you call it, but I refuse to regard STG as SHMUP, they're totally different.)
about Contra and Super C, I could easily beat it within one continue certainly. and I could even beat Contra Force within losing one single life of any character.
you could check more here, I uploaded bunches of playthrough videos back in the days.
